Part-Time Social Media Manager (Community-Focused Nonprofit Role)

Toxic Elite Dance Company is seeking a Part-Time Social Media Manager with passion, creativity, and purpose to help scale our impact and amplify the voices of the youth we serve. This is more than a digital service—it is a community-centered role rooted in storytelling, visibility, and advocacy.

As a cornerstone of our outreach and growth strategy, you will help craft a digital presence that reflects our values, attracts supporters, and sources resources to expand opportunities for underserved youth. You’ll work closely with our leadership to elevate our mission and use social platforms as tools for social transformation.

Time Commitment:

• Hours: 8–12 hours per week (flexible schedule; evenings/weekends as needed)

• Location: Hybrid (virtual + occasional in-person meetings or events in Augusta, GA)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement social media content strategies that reflect the organization’s mission

• Create engaging graphics, videos, captions, and campaigns across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)

• Highlight program milestones, youth success stories, and community events

• Collaborate with team to support donor engagement, volunteer recruitment, and partner visibility

• Track social media analytics and optimize content for reach and impact

Ideal Candidate Has:

• A creative eye and strong content creation skills (photo/video editing, Canva, etc.)

• Excellent storytelling, writing, and branding instincts

• Passion for community service, youth empowerment, and equity

• Familiarity with nonprofits, social impact work, or the performing arts (a plus!)

• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain alignment with the organization’s voice
